Gapahuk
Nestled amidst the stunning Lofoten landscape, the Gapahuk at Storvannet offers a peaceful retreat for visitors and locals alike. This community-designed shelter provides a unique and immersive experience, combining modern architecture with the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The Gapahuk's strong geometric shape creates a striking contrast against the picturesque backdrop of Storvannet and Skottinden. The building's placement was carefully considered to maximize sunlight exposure during the summer months, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors. The simple design of the Gapahuk was intentionally chosen to allow local construction students to participate in its construction, fostering a sense of community, ownership and involvement.
