Cabin on Gimsøya
The Cabin on Gimsøya features a unique design with two angled saddle-roof volumes that respond to local zoning restrictions. One volume accommodates bedrooms and bathroom, while the other houses a spacious kitchen, dining, and living area. Positioned near Gimsøystraumen, large windows frame breathtaking views of the stream and surrounding mountains. The cabin's design shields its occupants from harsh weather while inviting them to engage with the dramatic landscape, fostering a deep connection to its natural surroundings.
