Cabin at Mylla
The Cabin at Mylla was designed for a couple seeking tranquility by a serene lake nestled deep within a forest. The design carefully adheres to the municipality's strict zoning regulations, limiting the footprint to a maximum of 80 square meters. Gently nestled into the sloping terrain, the cabin minimizes its environmental impact while maximizing its connection to the lake and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
The ground floor features an open floor plan that seamlessly integrates the kitchen, dining, and living areas, creating a warm and inviting social space. A cozy reading nook provides a quiet retreat for relaxation. On a half-level above the living room, the master bedroom boasts a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. The partially sunken basement accommodates three bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, designed for visits from family and friends.
The cabin is clad in wood shingles, which will naturally weather over time, allowing the structure to gradually blend seamlessly into its natural surroundings.
